Reversing Camera Relocation Bracket to suit Toyota Prado 150

One of the most useful features of modern cars is definitely a reversing camera, but as fans of a rear-wheel bin bag for storing rubbish on the road, we understand the dilemma of choosing between them. This bracket gives you the best of both worlds, allowing easy relocation of the factory reversing camera – so you can mount your bin bag while also gaining a better view of your tow ball. Who said you couldn’t have your cake and eat it too.

Please ensure you select the correct model bracket – there are 2 options: Pre-facelift 2009–Oct 2013 OR Post-facelift Nov 2013–Current.

  • The bracket allows for an adjustable vertical viewing angle, so you can optimise the camera to suit your setup.
  • Made to last Stainless Steel powder coated in a durable textured matt black finish.
  • Fuss-free to install, as you do not need to extend any wiring to relocate the camera to the bracket.
  • Please Note: You may need wheel spacers to ensure enough room for the wires to clear the spare wheel, find them here. This installation requires drilling into the bottom of the number plate mount, but there’s no need to remove the door trim.

  • 1 x Factory Reversing Camera Relocation Bracket for the Toyota Prado 150 (Select your specific model above)

Please note: with camera relocated, the visual lines on the screen will no longer be accurate.

Reversing Bracket #1

As always another high quality product from KAON - easy to install hassle free - what deserves a mention is the extra detail that KAON have gone to by 3D printing BLACK screw head caps for the 2 screws under the number plate - well done guys - I fully committed to the bracket and cut the original camera holder off so I could put a center cap on the spare tyre rim : ) - no going back for me - trust KAON 100% knowing it will be good - plus staff and the service is excellent #1

Prado 150 camera bracket

Just the item I was looking for. The instructional video with this is one of the easiest to follow videos I’ve seen and as a result had no issues installing the bracket. Great product and wish I found this company sooner

Looks better from here!

I needed this kit!!!! I also used the spacer :) Works fantastically with easy install, I had to run this kit as our Prado runs 285/70-17's all round! Powder coat finish is awesome, great looking well made bit of kit!! I feel like the camera sees more (can now see my towbar/shackle points) highly recommend :)

reversing camera bracket for 150 prado

Nicely made and engineered product , easy to fit ( watch the little video) . I have the kaymar real wheel mount so needed to cut a small notch in it so wire for camera was long enough . Great supporting a true Aussie company .

Prado reverse camera bracket

The bracket is well made and easy to install. The only suggestion I have is that the camera if placed in a recessed position would have more protection. Perhaps a small enclosure.

Works a treat

Watch the installation video. Easy to install and does exactly what it says on the box. Now, just waiting for my rear wheel spacer to get the tyre (265/70/17 Toyo A/T II on a standard rim) off the relocated reversing camera cable. Unfortunately the spacer is taking a lot longer than normal to be delivered.

Simple and effective

Makes relocation of reversing camera easy so you can use a spare wheel storage bag. Customer service for answering questions was excellent. Shop with confidence.

Excellent quality and looks good with the satin black finish. Fits really well, but if you have bigger tyres (I have BFGoodrich KO2 265/70R17), you definitely need some sort of wheel spacer. See the KS0348 spacer that KAON sells - I have two of these for a total of 12 mm offset. I reckon two is probably required for these tyres, but it is hard to say for sure as my tyres are 50% worn, so a single spacer does do the job with these worn tyres. I'll know for sure when I get new tyres. I previously had a "Kaymar Wheel on door bracket" that I used as a wheel spacer, but note that with this spacer the camera cable is not long enough to reach around the bracket to the repositioned camera. Of course the guidance lines on the video display are now not accurate, and it takes a little to get used to. But, it is still worth it to have a reverse camera with a wheel bag on. Thanks KAON!

Reversing Camera Relocation Bracket on Prado 150 S

Beautifully designed and fabricated product. Fitting was easy. I have an aftermarket camera and it did not fit the original foot print. But a little work with the dermal tool and all is great. Highly recommend anyone with a Prado to get one.
