Fire Extinguisher Seat Mount to suit Toyota Prado 150

We all know it’s a good idea to travel with a fire extinguisher, but it’s tricky to work out how to store one so you have immediate access in an emergency. Front Seat Fire Extinguisher mounting brackets provide a safe and secure location that is right at your feet, saving precious time in the event something goes wrong.

Please note: These mounts do not suit models with electric seats (VX & Kakadu).

  • Allows the extinguisher to slide with your front seats.
  • The extinguisher sits tucked close to the seat, keeping it out of the way and ensuring plenty of leg room.
  • Quick install – secures to the existing front seat mounts with no drilling needed.
  • Does not affect any seat adjustment mechanisms.
  • Made from precision laser cut and folded 2mm 304 Stainless Steel.
  • Suits Fire Extinguishers up to 1.5kg.

Review Fire Extinguisher Mount to suit Prado 150 D

Great product ,great service in forwarding to Melbourne over busy period. Not difficult to fit but would be well advised to view u tube video referred to in earlier review as this made fitting very easy when you know how to get under seat to bolts to be slackened off to fit.

Fire extinguisher mount to suit Prado 150

Great idea, fitted easy enough but slotted holes could be longer as there is a few different brands of 1kg extinguisher that have different bolt pattern. To fit the extinguisher I brought I had to drill a extra hole to mount extinguisher bracket. Unless you advise what extinguisher holder suits your bracket. Cheers

Fire Extinguisher Mount for Prado 150

Great, nicely made and arrived very quickly. A bit of a process to get it fitted - not as easy as the installation instructions make out. The best guide was from Anthony from Fourby4Diesel. He has a youtube video of fitting it - if i hadn't seen it I'd have been mucking around for a while before finding that rear bolt on the inside rail. Absolutely essential this is loosened off before you can get the seat to rock back enough to slide the Kaon bracket in between the seat mounting and rail. A must watch... Here's the link, or else you should be able to find it by going through Anthony's utube Fourby4Diesel site. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdsFY9shqSc&list=PLPjOoUTTF2d5jFQ9iZPtMKrmhd-Zkj4LK&index=6

Great Product

Just fitted the fire extinguisher bracket to my Prodo. Very high quality product. Perfect fit, easy to install. All edges are well deburred so no chance of cuts and nicks. Install location ideal for quick and easy access to extinguisher. I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic high quality product

Makes the extinguisher very easier to get to in the case of a vehicle fire and saves valuable space from the Prado's cargo area. High quality construction and good instructions. I have a 2018 Prado 150 GX (the latest generation). Some notes on the installation: 1) Removing the seat trim was tricky; to detach the front of the trim you need to slide it back, its not a pop out one. 2) It was difficult to lever the seat up from the left rail enough to get the bracket under. I’m not sure what was preventing it. The right rail had plenty of room. I resorted to levering it up as much as I could with a screw driver, getting the bracket just a little under, then hammering in.
