With a high yield strength of 700 MPa, X700™ UVP outperforms common alternatives, such as 4mm Carbon Steel, 6mm Aluminium and 3/4mm Stainless Steel in permanent deformation tests.

What is the difference between the guards designed for a Diff Drop and No Diff Drop?

The Diff Drop guards are designed to accommodate the lowered diff housing while still maximising clearance, as opposed to installing standard plates with spacers, which some manufacturers opt for.

If you have no Diff Drop installed, select 'No Diff Drop'.

If you have a KAON Arm-style Diff Drop installed, select ' KAON Arm Style Diff Drop'. Not compatible with other brands of Arm-Style Diff Drop.

Our Guards are not compatible with spacer-style Diff Drops.

Does the X700 UVP to suit the Prado 150 fit the Prado 120?

No, the X700 UVP is not compatible with the Prado 120 or Lexus GX 470.

Does the Transmission Guard work for the Lexus GX 460?

The V6 Prado and V6 Lexus Models both use an A750 transmission. For these models, select the V6 Trans Guard.

The V8 Lexus uses an A760 trans, we do not manufacture a trans guard to suit. However, the Front & Sump guards do work.

What is the clearance of the X700 UVP when compared to the factory guards?

X700 UVP has 4mm more clearance than factory at the lowest point (it's hard up against the cross member, so it's as high as it'll go) but the front piece has 35mm more clearance at some points thanks to it's approach angle of 19°, vs factory 42°. For vehicles with a Diff Drop, the Cradle component of the guard sits down 25mm.

Front, Sump & Transmission X700 Underbody Guards to suit Toyota Prado 150 [Diesel]

I was impressed by the Kaon on line video which showed the difference between various metals and thicknesses under force. The Kaon guards are only a little heavier than the standard Toyota guards but provide excellent protection. I fitted these by myself. If I had assistance I could have completed the work well within an hour.
