Is the Standalone Shelf compatible with a cargo barrier? 

The KAON Barrier is compatible with this shelf, but is not required to mount it.

The newest 2024 models of Light Cargo Barriers (KS0771 / KS0772) are compatible with their respective Standalone Shelves (KS0410 / KS0409) are compatible. Instructions for installing them together are provided. 

For Light Cargo Barriers pre-2024:

Older Light Cargo Barrier (KS0046 / KS0051) + Standalone Shelf (KS0410 / KS0409) = You will also require the Standalone Shelf to Cargo Barrier Adaptor Bracket (KS0411), found here.

Please note, the Standalone Rear Roof Shelf may not fit if you already have another third-party cargo barrier installed in your vehicle. 

Why do I need to select the Grab Handle Configuration?

 LandCruiser 100/105 models have two main configurations for the rear third-row grab handles: they either face down. or into the vehicle. Our handle mounting bracket is different for each. Here's a guide to help you identify which you may have: 

 

Is the Standalone Shelf compatible with LC100 models with rear Air Conditioning? 

Yes, the shelf is compatible with roof cavity air conditioning. 

How big is the Standalone Shelf? 

The shelf measures 1125 x 450mm.

When installed, there is 880mm clearance to the floor, and 180mm of clearance from the ceiling to the bottom of the shelf. 

What is the load/weight capacity for the Standalone Shelf?

The shelf is rated to 10kg, evenly distributed across the shelf. We recommend it as storage for lightweight and soft cargo. If you need help imagining what that looks like, here's an example:

Can we still use the third-row seats with the shelf?

We do not recommend passengers ride in the third-row seats with the shelf installed. Should you wish to have passengers seated in the third row, uninstalling the shelf is quick and easy, taking just 10 minutes.
