The fuel tanks on the Prado 150 cops alot of abuse being right in the middle where ramp overs will have the car resting on the fuel tank.
It is rare to see a Prado that has been offroad which has a factory fuel tank guard that is still straight.

The Kaon fuel tank guard is a direct bolt on replacement and attaches to the same factory mounting points.
Made from laser cut and pressed 3mm steel plate with carefully designed folds to add strength and stiffness where needed.
Sloped leading edges and a smooth lower surface will allow you to slide over obstacles without damaging your precious fuel tank.

This substantial guard weighs only 17.5kg and will be finished in a silver zinc electro-plated coating for corrosion resistance.

Sweet fit

Excellent fit, and much more sturdy than the original. I’m a rank amateur, and this was a very easy one man job

Excellent robust, good looking fuel tank guard

Solid well designed construction and really easy to install. Excellent robust fuel tank guard, so much better than the already dented Toyota guard.

Perfect fit and solid made

I already bought a set of bash plates for the engine, gearbox, and sump, and now had this fuel tank guard fitted. Awesome fit, no drilling required, done in 30 minutes.

Well made and thought out

This is the the second Kaon product I have purchased. Like the first this is designed to do the job and do it well. Although it looks good it is primarily designed to do its job which is to protect the fuel tank but thought has also been given to making sure it does not collect mud or anything else and what does get stuck is easy to wash out. So far can not fault it.
