Paired together, the Door Hinge Shims and the Door Stopper make it quick and easy to adjust your rear door, correct that pesky door sag, quiten rattles, and get it closing like new again. 
 
 
SHIM FEATURES: 
  • Both the shims and stopper can be installed in 2 minutes – easily install the shims and stopper without having to remove the entire rear door. 
  • Fix a problem door from multiple angles – The Stopper and Shims each solve different issues, together helping your door closing like new. 
  • Build the shims up – Each is 0.7mm thick, allowing you to layer 1, or 2, in the lower hinge to correct the level of sag you're experiencing.

How many shims should I install?

For each shim installed to the lower hinge, it will lift the door at the outer end by 2mm. Most customers find two shims to be sufficient to restore correct function of the door. We do not recommend exceeding four shims.
