Flush Flat Maxtrax & TRED Mounts to suit Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform

They’re a saviour on tough tracks and sandy beaches, but there’s nothing worse than trying to find a spot to put filthy recovery boards after they’ve just saved your hide. Flush Flat Maxtrax & TRED Mounting Brackets enable safe and secure roof mounting, so they’re right where you need, when you need them most.

 

FEATURES:

  • Low profile flush-mount design means your recovery boards hug the rack, keeping your height lower for that pesky carpark clearance.
  • Slimline design means the brackets are almost invisible, removing visual clutter from your roof.
  • Provides quick access for even quicker recoveries.

  • Roof mounting frees up valuable room and keeps your interior clean.
  • Quick and simple to install.
  • Ability to be mounted in East-West or North-South orientations.
  • Brackets are made from 4mm Stainless Steel and powder coated in a durable textured matt black finish that will blend in with your racks and won’t rust.
  • Will mount 2 or 4 Maxtrax MKII tracks using standard pins. Please see the pins for details for other Maxtrax or TRED Board varieties.

**PLEASE NOTE:

Not readily compatible with Series 6 Platform Rack. 
Can be attached with ZwifLoc hardware (not included). 
Supplied nut blocks can be installed by dissassembling the rack to allow insertion of the nut blocks.

Not compatible with the 1376mm wide Series 5 Platform Rack. 
East-West fitted brackets can sit centred on the 4-slat platform rack, but off centred on 5-slat platform rack.
North-South fitted brackets will not fit on outside slat position on 5-slat rack.

FAQ

Can I mount these on cross bar style roof racks?

We prefer to recommend our Cross Bar Recovery Board for these situations, but it is possible to use the Flush Flat Mounts, provided you can space your cross-bars between 692-772mm or 1008-1088mm apart.

 

Which mounting pins are best for my setup?

There are different pin options depending on which recovery boards you have. Here's what we recommend:

MAXTRAX Recovery Tracks 

  • Maxtrax MK II Boards, Maxtrax Mini and Jaxbase: Maxtrax 17mm pins 
  • Maxtrax Xtreme Boards: Maxtrax X-Series Pins 
  • 2 x Maxtrax MK II + 2 x Maxtrax Xtreme: Maxtrax Hybrid Pins

TRED Recovery Boards 

  • TRED PRO, GT or HD: Either TRED Threaded or Quick Release Pins 
  • TRED Pins are usually sold in sets of 2. We sell TRED Pins in sets of 4, to ensure optimum use with our mounts. 

Please note our mounts are not compatible with the 'TRED originals' range of 800 and 1100 boards available before 2019.

Our Warranty

We warrant our products for a period of 3 years and unlimited kms from the date of purchase.
