Side Angled Maxtrax & TRED Mounting Brackets

Positioned on the side of your roof rack, these mounting brackets keep your Maxtrax or TRED within easy reach and keep your roof rack free for all your gear.

 

FEATURES:

  • Side angled mounting takes up a smaller footprint, giving more room for all your gear.
  • Secure mounting to two slats for even load distribution whilst reducing flex and movement.
  • Both angle and height adjustments so that you can customise it to suit your setup.
  • Optional mounting position for a shovel holder on the back, such as a QuickFist (not included).
  • Provides quick access for even quicker recoveries.
  • Secure and lockable mounting system so your Maxtrax will stay put.
  • Roof mounting frees up valuable room and keeps your interior clean.
  • Quick and simple to install.
  • Brackets are made from matt black textured 5mm Aluminium, which is light, strong, and won’t rust.
  • Will mount 2 or 4 Maxtrax MKII tracks using standard pins. Please see FAQ for details for other Maxtrax or TRED varieties.

**PLEASE NOTE:

Not readily compatible with Series 6 Platform Rack. 
Can be attached with ZwifLoc hardware (not included). 
Supplied nut blocks can be installed by dissassembling the rack to allow insertion of the nut blocks.

FAQ

Are these mounts compatible with Front Runner or ARB BASE Racks? 

They are not compatible with Front Runner or ARB BASE Rack. We do have specific mounts for ARB BASE Rack, find them here.

Are these mounts compatible with Rhino-Rack Pioneer Tradie Platform or Platform Trays (i.e. with the outer rail)? 

No, they're not compatible due to the outer rail. 

Which mounting pins are best for my setup?

There are different pin options depending on which recovery boards you have. Here's what we recommend:

MAXTRAX Recovery Tracks 

  • Maxtrax MK II Boards, Maxtrax Mini and Jaxbase: Maxtrax 17mm pins 
  • Maxtrax Xtreme Boards: Maxtrax X-Series Pins 
  • 2 x Maxtrax MK II + 2 x Maxtrax Xtreme: Maxtrax Hybrid Pins

TRED Recovery Boards 

  • TRED PRO, GT or HD: Either TRED Threaded or Quick Release Pins 
  • TRED Pins are usually sold in sets of 2. We sell TRED Pins in sets of 4, to ensure optimum use with our mounts. 

Please note our mounts are not compatible with the 'TRED originals' range of 800 and 1100 boards available before 2019.

Our Warranty

We warrant our products for a period of 3 years and unlimited kms from the date of purchase.

Exceptions include Transmission Oil Coolers and Underbody Water tanks which are warranted for 2 years. For full details see our Warranty page.
