Claim Your $8000 Consulting Assistance
Your business may be entitled to $8000 to improve your business performance. The Queensland government's Jobs Assist Program will provide the funding.
The Purpose of Jobs Assist
The Queensland Government is providing grants through approved consultants for the delivery of advisory and mentoring services to Queensland businesses. It is focused on helping businesses to be resilient to the effects of the global financial crisis and to prepare for the future as conditions improve.
Kaon Lean Enterprise Program
Kaon's 2-day assessment of your business will review the following areas:
- Your products/services and their place in the market
- Your competitors
- Your customers and their requirements
- Your operational practices including labour usage, quality management, production management and customer service
This assessment will lead to the development of an Action Plan
How is it delivered?
Stage 1: $3000 to engage a consultant for the purpose of diagnosing issues impacting the business and to develop an Action Plan to address strategies and activities to improve working capital, efficiencies, business sustainability and overall productivity.
Using the Stage 1 Funding, Kaon Consulting will conduct a 2-day assessment of your business to formulate an Action Plan to acheive results like these.
Stage 2: $5000 to engage a consultant to provide expert advice on the implementation of the activities set out in the Action Plan.
During Stage 2, you can use Kaon Consulting to help you implement the Action Plan.
Is your business eligible?
To be elegible for Jobs Assist you must:
- be located in a Priority Employment Area or be within a Queensland key strategic industry (see below)
- be experiencing at least a 25% negative variation in working capital between 30 June 2009
- employ 10 or more full-time employees.
- be an established Queensland business.
- have an ABN.
- be registered for GST.
